Over 120.000.000 people worldwide still suffer of sickle cell disease. One person dies every minute on the planet! Over 500.000 children are affected every year. Half of them die before five in most countries. We can do something for these patients, ease suffering, prevent infection, diagnose, treat symptoms and train doctors. The Sickle Cell Disease International Organization (SCDIO) needs your support.
